Jeffrey Sherman, M.D. is an anesthesiologist who has had a long-time interest in the culture of the Maasai people. During his career he has participated in multiple international surgical missions including to Kenya and Tanzania. He has visited the Serengeti many times and spent time learning firsthand about Maasai traditions as well as the challenges they are facing in preserving their way of life.
